Located in Phangnga Bay between Krabi and Phuket, Koh Yao Noi wows visitors with abundant natural resources on land as well as under the sea. Many tourists travelling there said they would want to keep the island just the way it is, as their secret escape. The island is quite small, only 15 kilometers north to south, and about 40 sqkm in size. It is a home to 5,000 people, mostly fishermen and farmers. Some 30 households on the island are members of the tourism club. They can accommodate up to 150 people at a time. Guests can observe the local way of life via the homestay experience and the eco tour. The Koh Yao Noi Community-based Tourism made by the club won it the World Legacy Award 2002 and the Award for Outstanding Performances 2007 and a certificate endorsing quality of homestay service, relevant facilities and activities.

DAY 1
8.00 Arrival in Phuket airport
8.30 Transfer to Bangrong (Phuket) pier
9.40 Travel to Koh Yao Noi by private speedboat
10.30 Arrival Koh Yao Noi Community-based Tourism
11.00 Welcomed at the Community-based Tourism club and briefing about the tour
program
11.30 Transfer to hosts’ house and get settled in (Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi,
Santisook Resort or Koh Yao Homestay)
12.00 Lunch at hosts’ house
13.30 Discover the island tour: Stop at batik house , Coconut handicraft house, Rubber
plantation, Rice fields, Mangrove village and enjoy sunset at western pier
17.30 Back to host house (Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi, Santisook Resort or Koh
Yao Homestay) for local homemade dinner
DAY 2
6.30 American breakfast
7.30 Pick up from home stay and transfer to the pier
8.00 Depart to Hong Island for snorkeling and sight seeing
10.30 Relax at Ao Nang beach for sightseeing
12.00 Enjoy lunch at Railay Bay
13.30 Visit local market to buy the souvenir
14.30 Depart to Kai-Thab-Mo-Island (Unseen in Thailand) foe swimming, snorkeling and
sightseeing at Poda Island
17.00 Return to Koh Yao Noi and transfer to host house then take own simple kitchen
course at your host’s home
18.30 Dinner and overnight (Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi, Santisook Resort or Koh

DAY 3
7.00 American breakfast at host-family
8.30 Farewell to your hosts
